Assumptions and limits.

The Japanese Vehicle Import Cost Planner provides a planning-level estimate only. It is not a vehicle quote, exporter quote, carrier quote, customs determination, broker invoice, port invoice, transporter quote, or guaranteed landed cost.

Nexus JDM Imports coordinates only vehicles that are at least 25 years old at the time of U.S. entry. Under-25 vehicles are not eligible for Nexus coordination and are blocked from the planner.

The Nexus Full Import Service fee is authoritative and reflects the formula: min($2,500, $1,250 + vehicle value × 4%). The $500 starting deposit is credited toward the total service fee and is not added on top. Vehicle Finder is $500, Customs Coordination is $350, and Delivery Coordination is $300.

Duty rates, tariff exposure, MPF, HMF, port storage rates, and other government or market-sensitive fees shown as planning estimates are working assumptions only. Final customs classification, duty treatment, admissibility, and filing requirements must be confirmed by a licensed customs broker and the responsible government agencies.
