This policy applies to this website and to the import coordination and consulting services provided by Nexus JDM Imports LLC ("Nexus," "we," "us"). It does not apply to the independent websites, systems, or practices of sellers, exporters, licensed customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, ports, transporters, payment processors, or other third parties you may work with during an import.

• Contact details such as name, email address, and phone number when you provide one.
• A mailing or destination address where you voluntarily submit one.
• Vehicle preferences and identifying details such as make, model, year, chassis or VIN information, and listing links.
• Budget range and timeline information.
• Purchase and shipping status, including whether a vehicle has been bought, shipped, or has arrived.
• Documents and files you upload, such as invoices, export paperwork, listings, or photos.
• Communications with us, including emails, messages, and notes about your case.
• Service selections, coordination requests, and acknowledgments submitted through our forms.
• Payment-related confirmation data such as whether a payment or deposit succeeded and related reference identifiers. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Technical information such as device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, and cookie or similar identifiers.
• Analytics and session-insight information when those tools are enabled on the site.

We collect information directly from you when you complete the import request form, use the cost calculator, email us, upload files, or otherwise communicate with us. We also receive technical information automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit the site, and we may receive information from service providers and from third parties involved in your import when you ask us to coordinate with them.

• To respond to inquiries and provide the coordination or consulting services you request.
• To prepare estimates, review requests, and recommend an appropriate scope of support.
• To facilitate communication and handoffs among you and the third parties involved in your import.
• To administer service agreements, deposits, invoices, and payment confirmations.
• To maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our internal processes.
• To send replies, service-related updates, requested information, transaction or case communications, and legally required notices.

We do not send promotional email or SMS marketing campaigns as part of these services.

We use service providers to operate the website and deliver our services, and we share information with them only as needed for those purposes. These may include:

• Supabase, for database, authentication, and file storage.
• Resend, for transactional and service-related email delivery.
• Stripe and/or other payment processors used by the site for deposits, service fees, and payment confirmations.
• Hosting, content delivery, and infrastructure providers that run the website.
• Microsoft Clarity, currently used on this website for analytics and session-insight purposes, including page interaction, scroll, and usage metrics.
• Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, which are not currently enabled and may be added in the future for analytics and advertising measurement.
• AI providers, including OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude), used for drafting, summarization, organization, research support, and internal workflow assistance.

Separately, your import may involve independent third parties such as sellers and exporters, licensed customs brokers, freight forwarders, ocean carriers, ports, and motor transporters. When you ask us to coordinate with them, or select them for your case, we share the information needed for that stage. These parties operate independently and handle your information under their own policies and legal obligations.

We use AI tools to help draft communications, summarize documents, organize case information, support research, and assist internal workflow. Human review remains required for consequential decisions. Nexus does not intentionally use AI providers to make binding legal, customs, financial, purchasing, transportation, or customer-commitment decisions. We aim to limit the information shared with AI tools to what is reasonably needed for the task.

The website uses cookies and browser storage in three categories. You choose what runs beyond the necessary category, and nothing in the analytics or advertising categories loads until you allow it.

• Necessary. Sign in and session security, fraud prevention, saved preferences such as your day or night display setting, and your privacy choice itself. Always on.
• Analytics. Microsoft Clarity session and interaction analytics, plus our own first-party page and event counts. This tells us which pages are used and where visitors get stuck.
• Advertising. Google ad measurement and campaign attribution, so we can tell which campaign or referring website led to a request.

We store your choice with a version number and a timestamp in your browser. You can change it at any time using the "Privacy Choices" link in the site footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat advertising as denied by default and do not override that signal. You can still turn advertising on yourself in the preferences panel. Blocking cookies in your browser may affect how parts of the site work, including forms and the cost calculator.

When you allow analytics, we collect basic device and browser information, the pages you view, and how you interact with them. Microsoft Clarity may record session and interaction analytics such as clicks, scrolling, and page navigation so we can improve the site.

When you allow advertising, Google advertising and measurement services help us understand which campaigns lead to requests. These providers may receive pseudonymous identifiers or interaction data in that case. We do not send them your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of your forms.

Photos and documents you upload, including Vehicle Insight images and auction sheets, are never sent to advertising or general analytics providers.

When the relevant consent allows it, we record where a visit came from so we can understand which channels bring people to Nexus. This can include campaign tags in a link such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term, the website that referred you, the first page you landed on, and the page where you submitted a request. Where advertising consent is granted, it can also include advertising click identifiers such as gclid, fbclid, and msclkid.

We keep both a first-touch record, meaning the earliest known source for your browser, and a last-touch record, meaning the most recent source before you contacted us. This attribution data is stored in your own browser for up to 90 days and is attached to a request only when you submit one. Click identifiers are kept internally for attribution and are not displayed publicly.

If you reject non-essential storage, we do not create that 90-day record in your browser, and the source of your visit is treated as direct or unknown. We do not use fingerprinting, and we do not put names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form contents into campaign tags or analytics events.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use it for unrelated promotional messaging or share it for that purpose with unrelated companies. Where advertising consent is granted, advertising and measurement providers may receive pseudonymous identifiers or interaction data, which some laws treat as sharing for targeted advertising. You can turn advertising off at any time through the "Privacy Choices" link.

• To fulfill the services you request, including coordination with the providers involved in your import.
• At your direction or with your consent.
• To comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process.
• To protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Nexus, our customers, or others, including fraud prevention and abuse investigation.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or other business transfer, subject to this policy's commitments.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including delivering and supporting services, maintaining case and transaction records, responding to questions or disputes, meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and maintaining security. Retention length varies with the type of information and the reason we hold it. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove its association with you.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including access controls and private storage for uploaded files. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information, such as full financial account credentials or government identification numbers, unless we specifically request it for a legitimate purpose.

You can ask us to access, correct, update, or delete information we hold about you, ask questions about how it is used, or ask us to limit certain uses. Send requests to admin@nexusjdmimports.com. We may need to verify your identity and may need to keep certain records where retention is required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes.

This website and our services are intended for adults age 18 or older. You must be 18 or older to submit forms, request paid services, or enter into agreements with Nexus. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact admin@nexusjdmimports.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These can include the right to request access to the information we hold, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, request a copy in a portable format, and opt out of certain uses such as targeted advertising. This policy does not claim that any specific law applies to every visitor.
